Welcome to Luckyshoe Racetrack! Here’s where horses test their skill in three categories: dressage, jumping, and traditional racing. You can enter your horse in the competition and potentially win a trophy!

All the horses are raring and ready to perform their very best. May the best rider win!

Almost everyone who played Bella Sara remembers the minigames. There was a jumping game, which was a pretty standard endless runner where you jumped over obstacles and collected gems, as well as the lance game... which was by far the most frustrating game on the site. But there were others, like the match-3 Citrustacked, Bubble Wand, and the firework game and more. The minigames are one of the best-remembered aspects of the website, and particularly emblematic of the kind of content that was this era of the internet's lifeblood as well as its downfall. All the magic of these virtual world games was wholly reliant on Flash.

I honestly think a lot about what it would have been like if Flash was never discontinued; what would our internet be like if these creative gameplay ideas had been iterated on and expanded? If tools like Flash hadn’t been taken too soon? Even nowadays, where we still have many tools with which to create games, the internet isn’t nearly as bustling with life, or non-social entertainment, as it used to be.

When I first created this shrine, very few of the original games had been archived. Now there is currently an effort to recreate, archive and get the old games running in browser. Thanks to tools like Ruffle and Flashpoint we can still enjoy the long-lost parts of the internet. This is due to the hard work of online communities, archivists and enthusiasts, and I want to extend a thank you to everyone who's kept the spirit of these older games alive. It is this that helps the internet stay fun when profit-motivated companies fail us.

Below is a small collection of rehosted games I remember playing on various game websites, including both games more horse-related, and games that aren't.

Bella Sara Digital Archive (Fanmade rehost)
This is the best archive there is of old Bella Sara games and media. A lot of progress has been made in archiving recently, compared to the two games available on Flashpoint when this shrine was initially published!

Horseland - Appleloosa (Flashpoint)
A fun matching game from Horseland!

Robot Unicorn Attack (Flashpoint)
A classic (and very glittery) endless runner set to the tunes of synth duo Erasure.

Pokémon - Emolga's Apple Adventure (Flashpoint)
A very simple Pokemon flash game that I have very vivid memories of playing just as I was discovering the series!

Pokémon - Snover's Dessert Drop! (Flashpoint)
I WAS OBSESSED WITH THIS ONE AS A KID! It lets you catch the ingredients to make your own snow cone with various flavors.

Pokémon - Deerling's Season Slider (Flashpoint)
An addicting tile-matching game with really catchy background music...

Winterbells (Rehost)
A super cute score-attack game where you play as a little rabbit.

Duck Life 2: World Champion (Flashpoint)
I was OBSESSED with the Duck Life games. 2 was always my favorite. You get to raise a duck and train it for racing.

Warriors Hunting Game (Internet Archive)
The Warrior Cats game I remember most fondly, apart from the New Prophecy Quest, which to this day I've never beaten. It's a fun game where you catch prey in various territories.
