Dragon Nursery

Welcome, traveller, to the haunting caves of the dragon nursery, where countless drakes lay their clutches in hopes they will hatch. It is treacherous work to raise a dragon, but if you wish to bring one home with you, there are five different eggs from five different species that may catch your fancy. But to adopt a dragon... first, you must hatch it. Begin by selecting which egg you want to hatch.

Once you have selected your favorite, simply click on it to warm it until it hatches into your dragon.

Congratulations! You have selected a beautiful egg. It still needs some love and incubation. All you have to do is click the egg to encourage it to hatch. Then, you may download it and use the script provided to set up an interactive pet widget on your very own page. (Though you can skip the script if all you want is the pet image). Then, you'll have your very own pet dragon to bring home and raise as your very own!

The frost dragon is a numerous species anywhere with a cold and snowy climate. They migrate when weather gets warm, causing ancient people to create legends about them melting in the spring, as though their whole body was made of ice. They roost inside of tunnels they burrow into glaciers and other icy masses, and are more social than most other dragon species, which tend to be solitary. There are many documented flocks of ice dragons hollowing out entire icebergs and turning them into nurseries.

The fire dragon is a recognizable and strikingly-colored dragon, known for hoarding gold and keeping to a mostly solitary life inside of mountains and caves. They are famously territorial and foul-tempered, and use their gold as a sort of protective shield for their soft underbelly, a common trait of the subspecies. They are said to be the strongest type of dragon.

The small and beautiful sea dragon lives in coral reefs, and hunts colorful fish, using its horns to camouflage amongst the coral. It is a strong swimmer, but it is mostly shy and conflict-avoidant, so there are few sightings in the wild. It is often heard by divers and people lost at sea, though, as it has a siren-like song that carries far through the water, like a whale. It prefers warmer waters.

The air dragon has often been disputed on its status as a “true dragon” due to its differing physiology and unique plumage-based flight.
