Welcome to the Menagerie!
This is where my collection of pets and familiars live and make merry. Please give them some attention and affection- they love to meet new friends!
Stay tuned, as I am currently working on making all of them interactive in some way. This is a work in progress project, though.
L U C Y
You've probably noticed that Lucy lives at the top of most of the pages on my website. She's actually been there since day 1! She's a sweet and friendly kitty who will follow your mouse as you browse. She loves the smell of garlic flowers, and playing with yarn with Milla and Bergamot. She is also prone to strange dreams. You can feed and pet her here.
S O M A B A T
Somabat lives here and on my homepage and greets new visitors. He's not literally Soma Cruz in bat form, but rather the embodiment or "soul" of the Giant Bat that he uses to turn into a bat. Somabat is funloving and silly, and loves muffins.
S L I P P Y
Slippy is an aquatic monster of my own creation out of various parts. Her biology is somewhat dolphin-like and she has a curious personality. Very pettable and a good lap animal.
T A F F Y
Taffy is a half-bat-half-cat creature I found in a mysterious Halloween candy-bucket. She is sweet and a little clumsy. Her favorite food is candy, the wrappers of which she also likes to make nests in. While I adopted her very early on in my site's history, I regrettably hotlinked her, so she disappeared after the associated image file was either moved or deleted. The moral of the story is to never hotlink- we were only reunited due to her being luckily snapshotted on the Wayback Machine, but not everyone will be so lucky. Adopts, buttons and shared graphics are meant to be saved and spread!
M I L L A
Milla is a catlike vampire creature. She has a calm personality and likes long naps in the quiet library. However, she does have a bit of a capricious side, and likes to get up to mischief- especially when Lucy is around.
M I S T
Mist has a shy and sweet personality and enjoys long rides by the seaside. She can be skittish and spook easily, but is friendly and inquisitive.
B L U E B E L L
Bluebell is a young fox kit with a calm and laid-back personality and a love of flowers. Sometimes wanders through the garden to smell the plants. Very sleepy and easily distracted, but friendly and outgoing.
B E R G A M O T
Bergamot is a small, easily frightened kitten rescued from the ruins of a Geocities page. She loves yarn and kneading knitted blankets, and the smell of steeping tea.
M A K I & K A T I E
While searching for more wayward creatures to rescue from an old abandoned page, I found myself charmed by these sweet ambiguously sapphic(?) pegasi. Their love has withstood the test of time! (and website closures)
E L Y S I A
While on my web-journeys through ancient ruins, I found a gif on Gifcities- a tiny, pearlescent egg. That egg eventually hatched into a shy, elusive, faery-sized pegasus I named Elysia. I've been raising her carefully since she hatched. She likes to sniffle through my potion ingredients and rest in torn-up pages from my ancient tomes, and eat sugar-crystals. She lives in my apothecary and is one of my dear familiars.

Firefly is a dragon who tends to hoard glittering things. He is nocturnal, playful, and likes to make nests out of velvet pillows. He can often be found preening his feathers. I never came across anyone else with a NeoWing, so I ended up making my own set of items instead, and you're free to take them along with you if you wish.

Created with hammyhome.com, these are my three digital hamsters. Snowball is an icy white hamster and she's a little shy and reserved. She does however enjoy playing with toys, especially the swing. Butterscotch is the golden-colored one and she tends to be more outgoing, and is a big eater. Nyx is the black hamster, and she has a calm and gentle personality. She seems to enjoy chew toys and nestling in the cage's bedding. Snowball and Butterscotch are sisters.
And, now that I think about it... I should probably tell you about my real life pets!
This is Autumn, also known as Otto/Auto, my dog who I recently adopted. He's just a puppy, and lived as a stray for a while. Despite that, he's one of the most calm and sweet dogs I've ever met, and he's extremely quiet and well behaved, even when he's being a silly goober. He loves chewing on things, playing fetch, taking naps on the couch, and meeting new friends.
This is Buddy. He's a sweet boy with a reserved personality. He loves taking long naps, trying to steal milk from my cereal, licking plastic bags, and bellyrubs. He still lives at my parents' house rather than with me, but he's always been "my cat".
