Original Characters
Here’s where you can find information on all of my OCs.
Lucila Fortner (Castlevania)
Lucila is a loyal scribe from the Order of Ecclesia, and she is 22 years old at the time of the game’s events.
She was saved from the squalor of an all-girls’ orphanage by Barlowe, seeking disciples to raise in Ecclesia to be potential vessels for Dominus. Because of that, she holds her master in high regard and values his attention and appreciation more than anything. Though she was never going to be able to bear Dominus due to her weak magical abilities, when she learns of the truth of Barlowe’s devotion to Dracula she has no qualms with continuing to follow him. For her, it was never about doing God’s work or saving humanity- it was her all-encompassing devotion to Barlowe. She begins working with him to write a hagiography lionizing his memory, one which she concludes shortly after being witness to his final martyrdom.
Her personality makes her a bit of a teacher's pet and a know-it-all. Being seen as worthy, as “lovable”, to the authority figures in her life takes precedent, and she can come across as smug and obnoxious as a result. Inside, she is deeply insecure and easily jealous- compounded by how Barlowe will leverage his favoritism to sway his followers. She knows Shanoa is “the favorite”, and Barlowe knows she knows and uses this to further manipulate. She is in a sense perfectly trained, constantly terminating her doubts and thoughts and letting her identity be wholly tied to her loyalty to Ecclesia. Much like Shanoa, though Lucila never gets the opportunity to step outside of her perspective and find a supportive outside environment. She is who Shanoa could have been.
When Barlowe dies and Ecclesia is disbanded, she lives on her own, traveling from place to place and trying to spread Barlowe’s knowledge wherever she can, her “favorite revenge”. She has nowhere to go without Ecclesia, no family or friends, but she eventually falls in with other Dracula worshippers willing to accommodate her, though she never sticks around long for some reason or another- she recontextualizes this as “no one being able to replace what Barlowe meant to her”, but in actuality is due to her trauma from her upbringing in the cult. Her writings are the beginning of what would become With Light, a cult run by her descendents and built on a similar religious ideology about the necessity of the Dark Lord.
She is constantly repressing her trauma, trying to avoid the realization that she had been abused by the cult- and the man- who raised her, as it means she will have to rewrite her story, and everything she ever believed. She would be left with nothing else.
She enjoys calligraphy, art, writing, journalling, and poetry. She genuinely loves to learn and share knowledge and could have done great things in another life. She is an exploration of a cult survivor and what it means to hold on to your beliefs forever.
Kittynoa (Sona/Castlevania)
Not exactly an OC, but the most common way I represent myself is through a cat version of Shanoa from Castlevania with a smokey-black and pale-cream coat. Don’t forget its ribbon! It’s the closest I have to a traditional “fursona” as it exists to be a simple little depiction of “myself”.
I've kinned Shanoa for years, so most of my online personas/fursonas/etc are in many ways influenced by her, and "Kittynoa" as I call it is no exception.
Moonspectrum (Warriors/Sona)
My first ever OC was a grey warrior cat with emo hair named Moonspirit, who I played as in Warriors Untold Tales, so I’ve given her new life as Moonspectrum, who I frankly... don't really do all that much with. Either way, she represents my youthful, artistic and “cringy” side and is a love letter to the outsider art I made as a child.
She was a member of ThunderClan and was a warrior who eventually became a medicine cat. Eventually she discovers her past, that she was created as a robot by a werewolf cat named Autumnmoon, who sought to create a robot with a heart due to her loneliness. After Autumnmoon’s death, the robot (Moonspirit/spectrum) went dormant due to the heart program overloading her system and erasing her memory, and was found a hundred years later by a queen from ThunderClan who raised Moonspectrum as her own. This realization, one she has once a battle reveals the internal wires of her body, causes Moonspectrum to spiral, grieving for Autumnmoon who had once given her life, and fearing that ThunderClan- and her mate, Scarpelt- will spurn her for her artificiality. However, they accept her just as they always had.
